This plant was planted in a perfect position (not by us, unfortunately!). The north-west facing aspect and the thermal mass of the pavement and asphalt of the street provide a micro climate that allows for tropical plants to thrive. You could travel 1000km north to get such a climate if it wasn’t for all the concrete!
